Behind their smiles

This animation explores the occupational hazards that priests endure behind their kindness. My main mission is to reveal the risks associated with such a vocation. We often think of priests as lovely and friendly—they help people work through their troubles. However, priests have no one with whom to share the darkness in their own hearts, so they suffer in silence. I created this animation to convey what lies behind a priest’s smile.
